This post could also be titled “Why it’s good to have friends”…especially super-talented blogger friends.
I am honored that our Shema Cuffs are featured in my friend Virginia Lindsay’s upcoming book, “Made to Sell” (due out in early 2014). Virginia, of the fabulous Gingercake blog and pattern shop, has
been a long-time encourager and mentor for me. Her thoughtful, practical book focuses on all aspects of selling hand-sewn goods; including set-up, bookkeeping, applying to shows, packaging, and marketing. It even includes patterns to make and sell.
Virginia chose to feature our cuffs in the packaging section of the book. When you order a cuff from our site, each one arrives with a card that explains the purpose of the cuff tied with sweet, colorful baker’s twine. The cuff is wrapped carefully in a vintage pattern piece and secured with a bright pink Mindfully Made sticker.
I love getting packages in the mail and notice the special touches that make me feel extra cared for. I hope that when you receive our cuffs (or when you send them to someone who needs one), you’ll know they’re sent with love and light from Central PA.
Special thanks to Virginia-for the shout-out and for all of your advice, encouragement and light over the past 10 years…
